| active feet was established in November 2002, the first store to bring Podiatrists and gait assessment FREE to customers on a daily basis. Podiatrists Scott Cameron, Rick Osler & Matthew Appleton teamed with Matthew Morgan in the General Managers role to bring active feet to fruition in Prahran. Since that time, we have opened stores in Heathmont & Camberwell, and now employ over 30 Podiatrists and senior Podiatric students, who spend a combination of their time in all the stores, teach at the University as Clinicians, and consult in clinical practice at a variety of locations around Melbourne. In addition, we provide further education for our Podiatric team on a monthly basis ensuring the strongest possible knowledge on all things footwear, and the lastest in research and Podiatric opinion. It is the strength of our knowledge base and team that allows us to make our claim as being the number one technical footwear service provider. A treadmill and biomechanical assessment is only as good as the person conducting the asessment. Our team is carefully chosen for their technical Podiatric skills, their experience in a variety of sports both personally and professionally, and their capacity to provide a solution for you. Further, where necessary, our links to Allied Health & Medical practitioners across a variety of fields allows us to draw in resources to help you, the customer, in ensuring you stay on track beyond your footwear. |
